Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains the terms under which customers may return, exchange, or request a refund for products purchased from Casebook (“we”, “us”, or “our”) via our website www.casebook.com.au
By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms set out below.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging

  • The product must be in a resalable condition

  • A valid proof of purchase (such as an order number or receipt) must be provided

Items that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for return or refund.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund (unless required by law):

  • Products that have been used, damaged, or modified after delivery

  • Items missing their original packaging

  • Gift cards (if applicable)

  • Sale or clearance items, unless faulty

  • Returns due to change of mind.

3. How to Request a Return or Exchange

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at sales@casebook.com.au and include:

  • Your order number

  • The reason for return or exchange

  • Any supporting photos (if the item is faulty or incorrect)

Please do not return any items until you receive authorization and instructions from our team. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or processed.

4. Return Shipping

Unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
We recommend using a trackable and insured delivery service, as Casebook is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit.

5. Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, you will be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Please note:

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable under all circumstances, unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product.

6. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Include your order number and clear photos of the issue.

Once verified, we will arrange an appropriate remedy — replacement, exchange, or refund — in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
